Est. 2009 Pandas Karate started out in small warehouse in Gaithersburg, MD. It took hopes and a dream to one day teach the virtues of martial arts to students of all ages. Pandas Karate started with 0 students when it first opened. PK grew so much that we moved to our permanent address in between the cities of Olney & Rockville.

The Co-founder, Daniel Amaguana, understood the benefits of karate from his personal experience in growing up and having to deal with bullying and weight gain issues. He believed that through martial arts he could help someone face their fears without the use of a kick or a punch.

Along with his wife, Susan Amaguana, they embarked on their dream together creating new black belts and improving the quality of life for their students. Through their anti-bullying program "Sticks & Stones", they now are able to help students on a new level to battle bullying without physical violence.
